Neighborhood Clean-Up
The City of Richmond’s annual Neighborhood Clean-Up program is returning this spring! This is a great opportunity for Ginter Park Terrace residents to dispose of large, bulky items at no cost.
Based on the DPW Service Finder tool, it looks like our primary clean-up date is Saturday, March 21.
When to put items out:
- Collection Time: Saturday, March 21, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- Placement: Please place your items out on Friday evening to ensure they aren’t missed.
Where to place items: Crews will collect items from wherever your trash is normally picked up (either at the curbside or in the alley).
What IS collected:
- Furniture and mattresses
- Appliances and lawnmowers (please remove gasoline)
- Tires (limit of 4 per household)
- Brush (must be cut into 4-foot lengths and bundled)
- General bulk trash
What is NOT collected:
- Electronics (TVs, computers, etc.)
- Construction debris
- Hazardous waste, paint, or glass
Thanks for helping us keep our historic streets clean, green, and safe!
